The Lion in Winter
100 N. Island Avenue Batavia
The Lion in Winter provides a fictional glimpse into the lives of England’s King Henry II and his dysfunctional family in 1183. The play focuses on the battle between Henry and his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine, over which one of their three sons will become the successor to the throne. It is a clever story of scheming and manipulation with a very funny script.
